Golden Frozen Mojito

I've been craving the perfect frozen drink lately, and it felt like the right time to finally pull out my Ninja Slushie machine. I love that you can just throw everything in and it creates the smoothest, most perfect consistency every single time.

I've tested quite a few drinks in this machine already, and this one is easily at the top of my list. It's refreshing, a little indulgent, and honestly perfect for spring break, hosting, or a cozy night in.

For this recipe, I made a homemade mint syrup so you get all that fresh mint flavor without having to blend the leaves directly into the drink. If you're not a fan of texture, this is exactly what you want-smooth, icy, and as good as it gets.

Golden Frozen Mojito (Ninja Slushy)
  1. Make the pineapple puree (optional but a pretty touch)
Cut off the top and bottom of the pineapple. Slice away the peel and remove the core. Chop and blend until completely smooth. Add a splash of water or pineapple juice if needed to blend.
  2. Prepare the glasses: Rub a lime wedge around the rim of each glass. Dip into sugar to coat. (optional but recommended: Freeze glasses 10 minutes before serving).
  3. Make the slushy: Add rum, lime juice, mint-infused syrup, and cold water into the Ninja Slushyi machine.
  4. Run the slushy program until thick and frozen (about 20 minutes).
Mint Infused Syrup
  1. Add the sugar and water to a small saucepan.
  2. Warm gently over low heat, stirring until the sugar is fully dissolved abut 2-3 minutes).
  3. Add the mint leaves then remove from heat and let steep for 15-20 minutes.
  4. Strain or removes leaves. Can let cool more but also can pour into the Ninja at this point.
